Tra doesn’t just understand leading through awareness; he’s lived it! Coming from humble beginnings in rural Georgia, Tra had to recognize his strengths and disadvantages in order to pursue and reach his goal of playing professional football. However, after being labeled too small to succeed, Tra intentionally focused on how to overcome this barrier to achieve his goal.
Deciding the walk-on to the football team at The University of Georgia, Tra later went on the achieve Team Captain, All-SEC & All-American honors. Yet, Tra faced the same challenges when he pressed to break the barrier into professional football. In the same spirit and process as his collegiate journey, Tra entered the NFL an undrafted free agent signed by the Los Angeles Chargers. He would later go on to retire after stints with the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions & Cleveland Browns.
Today he shares his experiences through the lens of your perspectives through keynotes, coaching and trainings. Tra is passionate about improving the leadership capabilities of individuals both intrinsically and extrinsically. He does this with one goal in mind, to increase your awareness of real-world solutions to help propel you towards your path of personal or professional success.

Tra Battle is a former collegiate and professional athlete. Born in Forsyth, GA to working class parents, Tra learned from a young age the importance of hard work, dedication, persistence, and perseverance. Always labeled as being too small to succeed, a recurring theme in Tra’s life has been to overcome adversity and defy the odds.
